ACF Region II partnered with the Stronger Families New York Coalition (SFNY), and US Together to convene local and state level officials, health and mental health professionals, faith-based leaders, ethnic communities, community service organizations, academic institutions, and individuals to raise awareness on US refugee resettlement. The meeting goals were to; provide an overview of world refugees and US resettlement process through presentations. HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society), the oldest international migration and refugee resettlement agency in the United States and US Together, an international refugee rescue and migration agency provided information for the group’s discussion.
